does anyone have any recommendations for a moving truck company? we should probably reserve one soon to get a better rate and i've been doing some price shopping, but does anyone have any horrendous stories, or any good ones for that matter? it would be most helpful.

We reserved our truck early (probably around now) and went with Penske. Wheel and deal a little when you call. The pickup was at some place in North Orem. It was relatively cheap, we had no issues and was overall a good experience :)
When do you guys leave again? We have to get together before you take off so I have to get planning!

Hey Katie, We used the pods when whe moved to Henderson. We really liked it because we didn't have to worry about driving a big truck around and they just drop the pod off at your place. I don't remember the price, but there are a few companies that you could compare. Do you have a place to live down there yet?

Oh yes...the moving truck. We went with Budget and got a really good deal by booking so early and didn't have any problems. My advice would be to Google promotional codes...because we saved an additional 15-20% off! Book now, you can always cancel any reservation up to 24 hours before the day of your reservation from what I can remember. Good luck!
PODS are only $182.00 to have dropped off at your place, and we would love to come help you guys pack up and stuff! Yes, I googled the price quote, and you would only need one 12 or 16 foot container. PLus you guys wouldn't have to drive that humongous truck to Vegas.
