new pj's

ever since jack was born, i'm always worried that his feet are cold. you know how if your feet are cold, you can't get warm? anyway, it's the same with sam. so jack has always worn the pj's that cover your feet. until now. i bought him his first pair without and he wanted to take some pics the first night he wore them. this kid kills me. he wanted to make his grumpy face when shawn took the pic, so this first one is the closest he got. it's a little zoolander-ish, if you ask me. he made me laugh so hard so the rest, he'd make the face, and i would laugh and he couldn't hold it so he'd giggle and say "stop it, mom, stop it".

grandma and grandpa gibbs came to town last weekend and jack was SO HAPPY to see them. we had a lot of fun together. we took jack to a discovery museum and he had a great time.
























he LOVED the grocery store...this place even had cash registers where the drawer opened and everything. he rang up every item that shawn brought and then gave shawn money back! what a steal!

when they left, grandma left a note in jack's room that say "jack and sam, grandma and grandpa love you tons!" i read it to jack once, and now whenever he sees it, he says proudly "grandma and grandpa love MEEEE!"

this is one of the few, and i mean few, pictures of jack with his eyes open. usually, he squeezes his eyes closed and smiles because that's what he thinks "say cheese!" means. this time i told him to make a silly face and this is what i got. sheer craziness, hold back, jack.
we do a lot of swimming here in vegas and grandma gave jack this sweet swimming towel. it's awesome, i just stick it over his head and he's all wrapped up.

best buds. i am amazed at how good jack is with sam. he hasn't shown any jealousy or resentment, he just loves him. "hold sam-boy" is the first thing he says to me every morning. i'm so grateful.
