so i just got a call from the guy at rc willeys who informed me that our gorgeous couches that were SUPPOSED to come in yesterday will be delayed another week. he says to me "i hope this isn't too much of an inconvenience...blah, blah, blah". and i want to scream at him "YES, ACTUALLY IT IS!! you see, i have wanted, desired, coveted new couches for 5 years, and i finally bought some which i couldn't have for a week and half to begin with (because they had just sold the last set in their store...literally, a day before we bought them) and now you're telling me it's going to be ANOTHER week. we sold our old couches a few days ago (we didn't) to be ready for the new ones, and we've been sitting on our floor (we haven't) which we now get to do for ANOTHER week." i couldn't say that because none of it was true, but i wanted to say something.
because that's the kind of week it's been. because i think i deserve to pout every so often. i don't, but i think i do.

Haha - I had that kind of week about 2 weeks ago, new TV not working, oven broke, computer got a virus. Don't worry things get better (kind of) New tv still has problems when you watch a movie, oven working but will spark at will, and computer was gone for 5 days being fixed. Anywho you'll have to post pics. of the new furniture... whenever you get it. :)
That definitely deserves a good pout! I hate waiting for things like that!
p.s. Did you see that someone stole Lauren's playhouse out of our yard (old yard I guess)?!? The guy across the golf course with the 3 little dogs figured it was his to take since we hadn't come to get it yet (we've been waiting on a trailor)....we had the cops knock on his door to tell him to bring it back! Anyways just a warning, if your going out of town, lock up the toys lol!
you totally deserve to pout. are you kidding me? you're a mom. pout all you want. i won't judge! if it's any consolation, we've been sitting on our love sac for about 2 1/2 month now. true story. we sold our old couches, and bought a sectional, something that i myself have coveted for 5 years. it's been in storage, and i am just loving the extra space and can't bring myself to put the new ones in...
the next time morgan does a vegas trip, i'll come down and we'll get our cake on!
I would pout too. That's a bummer. I'm hoping to see pictures and live vicariously through you! The joy of new furniture. :)

You know that happened to us too with RC Willey! It ended up being something like 3 weeks before they were actually delivered and we DID sell our old couches already. It was three weeks of sitting on the floor and using camping chairs... It made appreciate my new couches on a whole level though! :) FYI the stain gaurd really does work and is worth it!
i don't think it counts as lying/fibbing when you're dealing with capitalism and customer service.
